We just visited this a fine place, wonderful gardens, vintage bicycles, motor bikes and cars plus the national collection of crab apple trees! I noticed a wonderfully preserved 'CTC' cast iron sign near the top of the gable with a Ford dealer weathervane above it. The gardens and buildings at Barnards Farm are owned and managed by Bernard and Sylvia Holmes and the Christabella Charitable Trust.
He told me that he bought the sign at an auction in Buxton.
