I took this picture when I went to visit a friend staying in Dorchester. I was surprised to see the sign in the courtyard between the front of the Casterbridge Hotel and the new rooms behind (linked to) the hotel. My friend asked the landlady about it and was told she had been advised to move it from the front of the hotel to prevent its theft!
