I thought that you might like to know about the article which I have written for the Peak Advertiser (www.peak-advertiser.co.uk). The photos are all my own and I have no objection to these being reproduced with a credit . I hope this is of interest to bring your information up to date. I have now clarified that the Singing Kettle and Winged Wheel, both in Matlock Bath, were two separate cafes, not a name change as once suggested.

Further to the article I now have photos two separate cafes in Matlock Bath which welcomed members of the CTC. You will see the sign in the window behind the group of three people. This building is believed to have been demolished.

I have no names for the people on the other photograph but it is definitely in Matlock Bath and the Winged Wheel can just be seen below the hanging sign to the right.

Tea Shop at Matlock Bath with the Statham Family. Note on phote says “Now a Fish and Chip Shop”. But reportedly demolished and not the one shown above?
